Asian-Style Green Revolution Unsuitable for Africa

The Asian Green Revolution has been amazing, but Ghana has found that it is not one size fits all. Agricultural intensification and greening requires that the process be adjusted to the local climate and flora. While rice and wheat were easily ramped up in Asia, these crops do not grow as well in most African climates. The lessons for the green revolution in Asia have been well-learned, though, and Ghana is forging its own way ahead.
