Soil Moisture Satellite Launched

NASA has launched a satellite to measure soil moisture. It’s mission is to monitor the moisture in the top two inches of soil, worldwide, for three years. It will produce the most complete, highest-resolution moisture survey ever conducted from space, and will greatly aide scientists in their study of weather patterns, drought forecasts, global warming, and the global water cycle. What an amazing tool!
